Hi, my name is Sydney Franklin, I am apart of a retired military family and have spent most of my life living in places such as Alaska, England, and even a camper so we could travel the United States. Once I moved to Indiana, I knew I wanted to create my own business and get to meet the individuals in my community so starting in 2019 (12 yrs old) I created "Sydney's Dog Walking Service" and have slowly expanded and today own "Wags N' Walks". I currently am serving the Hendricks County community. I have been an animal lover ever since I can remember and am in the Spring of next year (2026) attending Purdue's pre-veterinary program to work to become a veterinarian specializing in animal chiropractic and physical therapy as like humans, animals day to day lives can have an significant impact on their bodies.

My Favorite Moment With A Pet
One of my favorite long-term clients was a Miniature Schnauzer I walked for over 3½ years. When we first met, she was nervous and barked a lot — unsure of who I was. But with time, patience, and consistency, everything changed. Eventually, she’d recognize me the moment I arrived, running excitedly to the door, ready for her walk. Seeing that transformation not only made her happier, but always brought a big smile to both me and her owners.
What's A Skill I Have Learned From Working With Animals That's Helped Me in Life
Patience and adaptability are key when working with animals. Pets don’t always follow the plan, and that’s okay — I’ve learned to stay calm, adjust quickly, and respond with care. It’s one of the things I truly love about what I do. Every animal I meet has a unique personality and background, and each interaction helps me grow in experience and understanding. Working with such a wide variety of pets has deepened my passion and commitment to providing the best possible care.

Autumn because I love seeing the various colors of leaves and the cool air (which most of my dog walking pups enjoy). Along with fall photoshoots because of the beautiful backgrounds.🍂
